Community Outreach

Support for Lupus.Whenever possible, the Choir supports good causes championed by other non-profit organizations, particularly those related to children and youth.

In 2004 BCGC developed an affiliation with the BC Lupus Society, a natural partnership since Lupus is a disease that affects primarily young women. We are working together to raise awarness of both the BC Lupus Society and the BC Girls Choir organizations as well as to jointly raise funds. Each October the girls participate in a Walk For Awarness.
