Community Events
Two to three times per year, we hold concerts where proceeds from admission – either ticketed or by donation – go directly to various charities. Recent seasons’ community outreach events included raising funds and awareness for:
- The Saint James Music Academy – providing violins for disadvantaged youth
- The Shelter to Home Project – helping families to relocate after homelessness
- Camp Sunrise – assisting youth to experience a summer camp
Over the years, we are happy and honoured to have supported other worthy causes, including:
- Downtown Eastside Women’s Shelter – assisting mothers and their children to find shelter
- Canadian Red Cross – raising funds for tsunami and wildfire relief
- CBC Food Bank Day – raising funds to fill food banks provincially
- Christmas Hamper Society – filling hampers for children in Maple Ridge
- Kids Help Phone – raising funds and awareness for children in distress
- Pink Shirt Day – supporting Canada’s anti-bullying campaign
