The British Columbia Girls Choir is widely recognized as one of the finest young treble voice choirs in North America. Singers achieve a high level of artistry and thrive under the leadership of an exceptional choral director, supported by outstanding administrative and artistic teams and a committed board of directors. Between newly commissioned works by renowned choral composers and an extensive music library, this vibrant multi-level choir performs fun and challenging repertoire in a variety of styles and languages. BCGC provides a range of exciting opportunities for its members, including guest appearances with world renowned artists, collaborations with professional musical groups, recordings and world travel. Singers develop lasting friendships in a safe, respectful and supportive environment that nurtures their musical and personal growth. Their experiences are further enriched by structured mentorship and community outreach programs. Benefits extend beyond the music; BCGC programs build confidence and foster social and personal responsibility, while offering a welcoming community for singers and their families.
We are very grateful for the support of the numerous Board members who have successfully overseen the choir’s operations since 1998.
